Description of the activity
In the recent years, the social need to be competent in foreign languages and the labour market demanding have impelled Educational administration to look for new models in order to respond to this new reality.
Many teachers are now immersed into this bilingual school model and they have noticed it is not the same teaching English that teaching in English. That’s why we set up this CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) course in which the participants are going to have not only the theoretical method support but also the chance to bring it in a practical way according to their own needs.

Target audience
This course is addressed to English teachers and to teachers who teach a subject in English to not native English speakers. From primary to secondary school.

- Updated Internet navigator (such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, others)
- Text processor (open office writer, MS Word, others)
- PDF reader (for example, Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader)
- Basic knowledge of ICT
Objectives
- As participant in this training course you are going to: · Acquire the theoretical knowledge of CLIL.
· Know the principles of Bloom’s Theory.
· Put into practice the CLIL method according the legal framework.
· Create materials and resources to be used in class.
· Use ITC tools in the classroom.
· Reflect on teaching practice to integrate CLIL in your programming.
· Qualify and train educators in handling CLIL.

Methodology
E learning methodology has its own characteristics, so it is very important you keep it in mind. E-learning is based on the idea of learning by practicing. It is very important to be active in all the forums and, of course, you should study and explore all the materials suggested. These materials will be given as text, videos, audios, slides and so on. At the beginning of each module, the trainers will send a message to the News Forum. This message will propose the module learning planning presentation with the specific objectives and the corresponding activities. It is strongly recommended to participate actively in the forums.
Our main goal is you learn and enjoy during the course. Your persistence and determination will be essential for success. Do not forget to work every day in an active way. We encourage you to be creative and explore the ICT. The tasks are prepared to be done in teams or individually. And if there would be any doubt please, let us know. We are here to help you, solve your hesitation and answer your questions.
Certification requirements
To pass this course it is required to:
- Participate in debates and forums.
- Complete the activities proposed in each module. The assessment activities must be submitted before the deadline, these activities will be returned with a comment or feedback.
