{"id":1260,"date":"2017-05-18T12:35:12","date_gmt":"2017-05-18T11:35:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.ciberespiral.org\/escuelas\/?page_id=1260"},"modified":"2017-05-18T23:32:43","modified_gmt":"2017-05-18T22:32:43","slug":"lets-clil-aicle-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ciberespiral.org\/escuelas\/lets-clil-aicle-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Let\u2019s CLIL (AICLE)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/V2IgS8J-rNg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/br>&nbsp;<br \/>\nL&#8217;Associaci\u00f3 Espiral, oferir\u00e0 la segona part d&#8217;aquest curs a l&#8217;octubre amb una durada de 60 hores, per aix\u00ed poder completar les 90 hores sol\u00b7licitades pel Departament per tal d&#8217;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">activar el perfil ling\u00fc\u00edstic<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h5>Description of the activity<\/h5>\n<p>In the recent years we have seen that many schools have opted to include English in subjects such as mathematics or science, which has been effective in improving the competence of students in both areas.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout this process of implementation of these practises it has been generated a theoretical framework from different research and experiences, in order to ensure effective development and quality.<\/p>\n<p>This course provides a methodological basis for CLIL (Content Language Integrated Learning) and ICT resources (research, mind maps, presentations, audio and video editors&#8230;) always related to the different aspects presented.<\/p>\n<h5>Target audience<\/h5>\n<p>This course will be done in English and it is not only addressed to English teachers but also to all educators interested in discovering a new and effective methodology.<\/p>\n<h5>Technical requirements<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Updated Internet navigator (such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, others)<\/li>\n<li>Text processor (open office writer, MS Word, others)<\/li>\n<li>PDF reader (for example, Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader)<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of ICT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Objectives<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote the implementation of the key aspects of CLIL methodology.<\/li>\n<li>Generate different materials and activities, under the CLIL framework and ICT resources implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Reflect on the teaching\u00a0practice\u00a0in order to integrate new strategies and ensure quality learning opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Contents<\/h5>\n<p>Module 0: Introduction and updating<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updating of the web browser and its plugins (Java, Flash &#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Self-Presentations using a Wall wisher (virtual wall).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 1: CLIL General Framework<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overview of the methodology and the 4 C&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to the concept of scaffolding and its implications<\/li>\n<li>Development of activities under this principle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 2: Cognition (Bloom&#8217;s Taxonomy)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Theoretical view<\/li>\n<li>Practice on &#8220;LOTS &#8211; HOTS activities&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Analysis and design of different activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 3: Evaluation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Types of evaluation and the importance of &#8221; Assessment as learning&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Guidelines for rubrics development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 4: ICT resources in the English classroom<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Digital resources of different types (podcast, video, forms generators, presentations &#8230;)<\/li>\n<li>Bloom&#8217;s digital Taxonomy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 5: Cooperative work<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Guidelines and orientations for a good management of the groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Module 6: CLIL programming<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Directions to prepare teaching units considering the CLIL principles<\/li>\n<li>Links to different CLIL programming models<\/li>\n<li>Final Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h5>Methodology<\/h5>\n<p>This is an on-line course, so connected to internet and using this virtual classroom. It is very important to actively participate in the forums suggested to make the course more rewarding and we encourage you to explore all proposed materials, and dare you to be creative and experiment with ICT tools. The final project will contribute to summarize all your knowledge with all submitted content.<\/p>\n<h5>Certification requirements<\/h5>\n<p>To pass this course it is required to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in debates and forums.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the activities proposed in each module.
